Despite the rapid advances in science and technology over the last five decades, life is more complicated and problematic than it should be.

Alice, though, tells the Cat that she doesn’t much care where. “Then it doesn’t matter which way you go,” the Cat replies.

Although not obvious, the Cat’s answers, in fact, contain the secret to getting your personal and professional life back on track—clarity. You must first be clear as to where you are now, and then you must be clear as to where you wish to head.

These are your two minimum points of orientation, without which disorientation and confusion usually arise. This disorientation is the feeling that you’re going around and around in circles, going nowhere, and then getting frustrated at your lack of progress.
