Resilience is your ability to bounce back and keep going, even when the path gets difficult.
Today, we will focus on practices that build inner strength—mindfulness, gratitude, and self-compassion.
Day 11: Resilience
Resilience keeps you going when the going gets tough. The purpose of today’s exercise is to strengthen your ability to adapt and thrive in challenging situations.

Step 1: Gratitude Practice
- Activity: Write down three things you are grateful for each day.
- Benefit: Builds positivity and perspective, even in tough times.
Step 2: Grounding Presence Exercise
- Activity: Practice the “5-4-3-2-1” technique: Identify 5 things you see, 4 you can touch, 3 you can hear, 2 you can smell, and 1 you can taste.
- Benefit: Anchors you in the present moment to reduce stress and internal negative chatter.
Step 3: Journaling Through Adversity
- Activity: Reflect on a challenge you’ve faced, focusing on how you overcame it. What strength or skill did you develop?
- Benefit: Helps you to reframe difficulties as opportunities for growth.
Step 4: Random Acts of Kindness
- Activity: Perform one small act of kindness daily (e.g. giving a compliment, helping someone).
- Benefit: Builds connections and reinforces a sense of purpose.
Step 5: Mindful Breathing
- Activity: Spend 3-5 minutes focusing on slow, deep breaths.
- Benefit: Promotes calmness and emotional regulation.
Step 6: Set Personal Boundaries
- Activity: Identify one area in your life where you need better boundaries and take action to set them.
- Benefit: Protects your energy and well-being.
Step 7: Visualise Success
- Activity: Spend 5 minutes imagining yourself achieving a goal.
- Benefit: Boosts confidence and motivation.
