Escaping Groundhog Day: Discover what’s keeping life on repeat
Ever felt like you’re living the same day over and over, even though the years keep passing?
We get up, go to work, make plans, achieve things, come home again. The dates change, but we can still find ourselves repeating the same thoughts, frustrations, reactions, behaviours, and expectations.
Lately I’ve become even more aware of this pattern through my work with clients. We often assume that changing our circumstances will change our experience of life, only to discover that familiar patterns continue to shape how we think, feel, and behave.
It’s a little (a lot) like Groundhog Day. The scenery changes, the years pass, but a lot of things keep repeating.
What’s striking is how much of this repetition happens outside our awareness. Over time, repetitive thoughts and beliefs can become part of how we see ourselves and the world, influencing our day-to-day experience without our recognising their influence.
This is what I’ll be exploring in my upcoming Adelaide workshop, Escaping Groundhog Day: Discover What’s Keeping Life on Repeat.
We’ll look at three things: how these patterns develop, why they persist, and how to recognise what we can’t seem to see.
If you’re interested in more fun, fulfilment, and freedom in everyday life, join me on Wednesday 18 November, 7–9 pm, Arkaba Hotel, Adelaide as we explore the first steps towards escaping Groundhog Day.
