Living Abundantly: The 3 Pillars of Spiritual Mastery through Giving, Forgiving & Thanksgiving
By Dr. Scott Zarcinas | Author, Doctor, Spiritual Coach
Abundant living is not a destination to arrive at, as you might think. It’s a way of being.
It’s not about accumulating more but about awakening more: more awareness, more love, more truth.
It’s about shifting from a mindset of scarcity to one of spiritual fullness.
To embody true abundance, we must engage three core spiritual principles: Awareness, Alignment, and Action.
These are The 3 Pillars of Spiritual Mastery. They form the foundation of a meaningful, purpose-driven life.
When you activate these pillars through the Attitudes of Abundant Living—Giving, Forgiving, and Thanksgiving—you create an inner atmosphere of truth, clarity, and expansion.
Pillar #1. Awareness: Giving Opens the Flow of Life
“You are never more alive than when you are giving.”
Giving is the spiritual expression of Awareness.
When you become aware of your Divine Essence—your Oneness with Life itself—you naturally move into an attitude of generosity and contribution.
Awareness dissolves the illusion of lack. You no longer perceive yourself as separate or insufficient. You recognise that Life is abundant and flowing through you at all times.
This awareness compels you to give—not out of obligation, but out of overflow. You give because you are connected to the Source of all things, and giving therefore becomes a natural extension of who you are: You give because that’s your nature.
Generosity, charity, kindness, and service are how spiritual awareness takes form. These actions are not just good deeds, they are affirmations of your true state: complete, whole, and abundant.
When you give freely, you affirm:
“There is more than enough. I am more than enough. Life flows through me and from me.”
Giving awakens your heart, breaks down the walls of self-centeredness, and expands your awareness to include others in your circle of compassion.
It is the first step in living a spiritually rich and purpose-driven life.
Pillar #2. Alignment: Forgiving Restores the Flow of Love
“To forgive is to realign your heart with Love.”
Forgiveness is the spiritual expression of Alignment.
Alignment means bringing your thoughts, emotions, and actions into harmony with spiritual truth. And Love is the ultimate truth.
It is the underlying fabric of all creation, the force that binds, heals, and unifies.
When you forgive, you’re not just letting go of resentment. You’re choosing to realign with Love itself.
You stop identifying with the hurt, the blame, or the ego’s desire for retribution.
Instead, you remember who you really are: a being of love, born from love, here to give and receive love.
Forgiveness therefore isn’t a weakness, it’s a spiritual strength. It dissolves barriers between yourself and others. It heals the inner split between who you are and who you’ve become through fear, pain, or judgment.
When you forgive, you affirm:
“I align with Love. I release all that is not Love. I am free.”
True alignment requires that you forgive not only others but also yourself. Self-forgiveness reconnects you to your inherent worth and divine innocence.
In that space of inner reconciliation, you are restored to your true power.
